Rolling Into the Thousands

Christine, a 2nd grader, has been diligently working on her number scroll since 1st grade. She’s written every number from 0 to over 12,000, and today she proudly unrolled her scroll, which stretched halfway down our east wing as many classes gave her a drumroll and cheered her on for her persistence!

🌨️ Cloudy – with a Chance of Science!

KARE 11 meteorologist, Belinda Jensen, visited Falcon Heights 1st and 2nd graders. She made a cloud in our gym using hot water, frozen water (also known as ice) and dust! Students learned about storms and all kinds of science facts!  Thanks to Mrs. Bakke for organizing and Belinda Jensen for visiting!
